I kind of lament the fact that legendary Pokemon are usually event based only Pokemon

Like if you get one of the older games years and years after the height of it's popularity good luck getting the full Pokemon experience even though the game has the files right there without hacking

#it just seems like a very weiiiirddd model to live on #text #esp bc half of these dudes ARE in the games files. but usually trying to access them outside the event can screw something up anyways #my post #and for a 'gotta catch em all' motto it sucks that you indeed can not catch them all and get the experience #i haven't played any of the recent gens in like almost a decacde so no clue how that functions
