Sagwan's and other seafolk's view of life makes so much more sense when you remember orcas terrorize the oceans, smacking seals in the air with such force that when they land their skin tears and the only ones who can do a thing about them are humpback whales.

#beastars #sagwan #i hope this is the correct tag bc in the trl i saw zaguan???#but yeah he knows the terror of orcas so the seafolk collectively decided not to sweat it too much to protect their mental health #gives me mixed feelings because orcas are amazingly intelligent but also cruel in the sense they kill just for fun at times #but they also attack yachts and that is funny
