#crunchyposts#books#i knew it so immediately im actually not a massive fan of evie still being alive as maggie but we'll see how i feel about it later#i kinda like the idea that she and nova are like reversed where maggie grew up w renegade love and went in the other direction#but like novas more middle ground and i kinda wish she just. got to have a normal tragic backstory without that constant what if they had#helped each other always in the back of my head#also dont make me think about 11 year olds dating please lol its literally fine theyre children let them be please#it also just feels kinda#pointless that someone else is gonna be a villain again???? i get why but like bro....... idk if you can tell im not a fan of the epilogue#lol but anyways i did really like this series so positive critique time: i love nova so much#just the vivid imagery of her killing her actual FAMILY to do what she knows in her gut is right despite how painful it is#and just watching her collapse to the floor sobbing for so long after she almost died and just aughhhhhhhhhhh#and the pull the trigger nova callback when shes supposed to kill adrian????? i love her so so so so so much shes so full of rage#and trauma and internal turmoil i wish her and callum could talk more
