[Dumb take of the day: Nabooru should have gotten the Triforce of Courage when the damn thing broke because it takes a lot more courage to stand up to the ruler of your people and commit treason against both him (who is also just very powerful in general and she knows it) and the people you love because it's the right thing to do than it does to blindly do what you're told and accept a destiny you don't understand from a tree meant to protect you and a total stranger. :3]
#[ ☀ ˢᵖⁱʳⁱᵗˢ ᶠʳᵒᵐ ᵇᵉʸᵒⁿᵈ ;; ᵒᵒᶜ ]#also this is not me saying Link didn't deserve it at all#i don't mind link as the hero and all that#and how the story of oot and other games that actually include this goes#BUT I'M JUST SAYIN#i know im the only one in this fandom that weeps over the complicated position nabooru would be in#and how interesting she could have been#and i realize this wouldn't be great especially with the brainwashing aspect#that might make it real easy for ganondorf to realize SHE has it and take it#for whatever that would do for him since even when he had zelda#he didn't just yoink her piece and kill her#BUT U (maybe) GET IT#also another note i understand link was a kid with no understanding of the outside world#and that's kind of what kids do which does make the og story really compelling in itself#but im just saying
