like sometimes i feel like people just dont appreciate the near unfathomable force that goes into making the things we wear today, like you go to your grandma’s house and she has doilies everywhere and you think thats frilly and silly but honestly, imagine what it would be like to actually make those things by hand? your grandma probably does and perhaps grew up in a time or with parents who grew up in a time where if you wanted something so intricate you had to either pay big money or a grueling amount of time to make a satisfactory product. like what the fuck.
