Note
hey sorry if youโ€™ve answered something like this before but do you have any non-pjo book recommendations that are in a similar genre? i trust your taste
I havenโ€™t really read much in terms of books similar to pjo in a few years, but here are some I remember off the top of my head! (also you probably have heard of her books a lot but definitely check out Madeline Miller) Iโ€™ll try to compile a better list once I have time to catch up on reading ๐Ÿ˜ญ
if you want something a little more intense, check out the Half Bad trilogy by Sally Green or House of the Scorpion by Nancy Farmer.
if you enjoy the childlike tone, check out The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Wright
if you liked the unique voice, check out Howlโ€™s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones or The Book of Lost Things by John Connelly.
if you want another young adult series, check out books by Marissa Meyer or the Three Dark Crowns series by Kendare Blake.
more general recommendations: Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi, anything by Benjamin Alire Saenz, See Now Then by Jamaica Kincaid, A Drowned Maidens Hair by Laura Amy Schlitz, You Should Have Left by Daniel Kehlmann
i also have a reading list and to read tags on here and my personal blog
