i really like miles morales
#i really like what he represents. i really like how cute and endearing he is#i like that hes a symbol of hope for children and adults alike to look up to. and im talking abt children and adult from our world#not miles fictional one#i like that afrolatino people who dont get to see themselves in these media spaces are able to see themselves in him.#and i love all the real world cultural things i can learn from this character#i like that in a world overrun by massive corporate franchises; a character like miles can exist#a kind child that many children can aspire to want to be like. i like that miles is cool bc every kids wants to be cool too#i like that older people can enjoy his stories. i like that it was a film about him that revolutionized western animation on a big scale#(it was only bc it was a film about miles that tht could happen. it was only when he had barely any stories of his own that he#could tell; did creatives have to think of a new one for him)#comics are a bleak space and its future is always bleaker. but im happy a character like this could exist for people to enjoy
