i love when i see a fish in a game and i google the fish and the first photo i see looks Identical to the fish in the game. like yeah that sure is fish!!
#googled a flowerhorn cichlid and the third photo in my results had the exact same pattern as the one in the game#it's much more fun when you know the fish is a kind with very varying scale colours and patterns#bc its like. thats my guy right there!!! there he is!!! he's real#also it's also slightly funny when you can Tell which photo they likely used for reference bc of patterning#i like that kind of. accidental peek behind the curtain. like accidentally stumbling on dev stuff#i like seeing the processes of how art is made and the little bits of life that leak into the art we make#and being able to connect those dots after the fact like. oh! they must have used this thing or this software or this picture#like when i found the game that the minecraft painting guy is from
