Maybe just a little bit stupid.

I've had a mod (basically dlc) idea floating around in my head for a week or two now. Sly-focused and yes it has plot and stuff too- I can't program or code or animate for shit so it's just concepts but very fleshed out for something so spontaneous. By far one of the most important ideas is the addition of a Vengefly buddy with it's own little mechanics! I won't explain but just know that Sly finds this little guy injured and begrudgingly takes it to the Vengefly coop (a store) where it then bonds to him and follows him everywhere. He acts like he hates it but he loves it <3

(YEAAHG ASK BLOG TIME seeing all the ttcc manager blogs around lately slowly pushed me into trying it out myself since I hadn't seen one with my beloved boy yet, taskline manager enjoyers rise up)

(And of course now for the obligatory forewards and rules I gotta bring up:

- Not technically a 100% canon-compliant Derrick Man (well... as much as you even can with him), the one on this blog is actually based on a still nameless AU I've thrown together, he's not very drastically changed as a person though hes still grumpy and boring and full of oil but its enough to mention probably (he may mention things in passing sometimes too if the topic comes up)

- On the topic of that too, shipping between William and Rain and William and Chip will probably come up occasionally, im normal im normal guys im normal

- Headcanons galore, well- I mean as is a given for a character with so little official content to be fair, i don't wanna ruin the fun by listing everything though (also because we'd be here all day)

- This blog claims no direct affiliation with any other character's askblogs, or any other blogs in general for that matter aside from my main, all characters depicted in my doodles as well are my own spins on them and unrelated to any other askblogs too (please feel free to keep sending me jokes from other askblogs though like the spayed bellringer thing i think its funny as fuck) ((this is not to discourage anyone elses blogs from interacting though I'm just noting this so its at their own discretion))

i hope this is ok and i hope it doesn't cause more blorpo pen requests if you cant handle anymore. but i feel like, for after work/off time/office time, fountain pen for kim makes a lot of sense, the feel of taking it apart, reapplying silicone grease, cleaning it, refilling the converter, is all stuff he loves about work with his kineema. and i have both the tera orange and the charcoal safaris and i love them very much. but i feel like in the field can be a little unwieldy at times.

i feel like a rotring 600/800 with a pressurized fisher space pen refill (using the parker style adapter) feels very him, although i wish they had an off black that wasn't the scarlet. he seems so much like an off black guy. (in a perfect world i think a blue, off black similar to the sarasa vintage blue black) but the connection to him wanting to be an aerostatic pilot, alongside the ability to write on wet paper and in cold weather and in weird angles, seems like it would be extremely handy for him, esp in martinaise. i feel like the rotring also gives him the heft he's used to using fountain pens, being in a metal body. it also looks similar to the pen in the art of his notebook

p.s. i have the mnemosyne a6 and i love it so very dearly, its my most useful notebook
