@gooselullaby whispered: "Bella! Here!" She had some fresh veggies she grew from her garden. It was corn. Bella was getting corn from Nanako as a gift.

UNPROMPTED

{ ♪ } -- Immediately, she brightened at the little girl's presence. Hands moved before she could speak to accept the corn she'd been given. It was a bit small, indicative of being grown in a home garden. But that wouldn't stop Bella from giving the brightest smile she could muster.

"Oh, wow! Thank you, Nanako! I love it! I'll use it tonight when I make dinner, promise."

One hand moved to tuck the ear of corn away in her bag and the other reached out to gently pat at her head. What a sweet girl.

"Do you grow a lot of veggies in your garden? It takes a lot of work to grow anything!"
