Here is a summary of the livestream of “The Sims 4 Infant Update & Growing Together Livestream” That is 2:34:53 in length. I thought I’d summarise it for people that don’t have time to watch it and some of my opinions!

I did watch the new Infant & Growing Together livestream with SimGuruMorgan, Scott & Nova (I think that’s them? Nova for me is confirmed, please correct me if I’m wrong)

From what I can see is infants have the same lifespan setting as a toddler (7 days on normal lifespan & 3 on short but I have never personally played on long so I’m not sure how long that is!)

• Decorate the tree house and lock it to only children, teens etc.

• Sims can relax, sleep and even woohoo in the treehouse and you can upgrade it so they can have a pole, slide, lights, bell

• Light colours can be changed on the treehouse.

• things can be put on the balcony of the treehouse (E.g toys and microscope) 

• Sabotage & Befriend Work Rival

• Bike for children

• Children can learn how to ride a bike with or without help

• 6 Kids bikes and varients

• Kids can wiggle and Pull out loose teeth and if it comes out you can see a gap where the tooth fell or got pulled out

• Kids can place the tooth under the pillow and when they wake up they will get money and they will get a milestone and a certificate.

• There is keepsake boxes and you can designate them to a sim you can put stuff in it and ponder the meaning of family.

• Sims can pass on the keepsake box if they are close enough with another sim. 

• sims can make friendship bracelets and it is an object in build mode that you can buy and create them with the object

• Sims can exchange friendship bracelets and they can wear them

• Under the affection category you can do a fist bump or under the malicious category you can demand the friendship bracelets back

• Sims have a diaper changing table and it works for infants and toddlers (Toddlers only work if they are not potty trained) 

• Infants get a Milestone if getting their diaper changed goes wrong such as peeing and pooping on their caregiver.

• You can baby proof gates and toddlers have the interaction of “BREAK LOOSE!” They have a chance to get out and they get an energised moodlet if they succeed.

• 3 new events : Baby Shower, Slumber Party and Family Reunion

• As a reward for family reunions you can get photos of you family and put them in the frames.

I am going to make a family called the Linton family when both releases! I am super exited for both updates!

Ware Legacy Update Part 3!

Please ignore the jump in screenshots lmao I'm a dumbass.

But! Omg can I say that Eloise had the most doted on infant life stage?? Yes I can! Devon has been such an attentive mother-- she is always the first one to jump up and go check on Eloise whenever she cries, and Alice definitely pulled hir weight in being a good Bibi (gender neutral term for aunt or uncle) for Eloise.

And can we take a moment to look at that last screenshot of Nani? Absolute QUEEN right here! She has continued to work on her violin skill, and has been a very loving and caring mother all the while. Her and Devon's romance has continued to thrive during parenthood. They have a fantastic support network, and anyone and everyone is ready to jump up the moment either of them say they need some alone time or they need to rest.

I really think the only one to let her Rest meter get into the red was Devon, and that's just because she wouldn't put Eloise down to sleep and just wanted to hold her lol. But, luckily Bridget was always happy to hold her granddaughter.

Alice is still improving in hir job, and working on trying to manage hir work-life balance. Bridget has struggled with the same thing, and has been happy to give some advice in this regard.

And these other pictures are very cute, just showing their day-to-day life, and the last one is just my two buff babes chatting one evening. Alice definitely took after hir mom! Both of them are on top of their exercise routines.

A surprise to everyone involved! Shortly after Eloise reached the Roll Over To Back Milestone Nani revealed that she was once again pregnant! (And let me tell you I was rather surprised when that notification popped up) She told both Devon and Alice first, and Devon was more than thrilled!

Alice congratulated both of them, and promised Devon that both of them would always have their support when she started expressing her worries about having a second child so close to having their first kid! She was encouraged to just take every day as it came, and she made sure to do that. She spent just about every moment with Eloise, and it's just the most beautiful thing watching her grow as a mom and raise her parenting skill. She wanted Nani to rest while she went through her pregnancy and made sure her wife got her sleep and was taken care of.

And, of course, Nani was always appreciative, and showered Devon with affection and attention and love every single day.

Ashly also began making herself more of a presence in Eloise's life as well. She had been nervous to interact with an infant, and wasn't quite sure how to handle herself. But, Alice encouraged her to give it a shot, and just sit with her while she was on her play mat. And seeing her talking to Eloise was so cute, because she just talked with her! It was so sweet!

On Eloise's birthday, Devon decided she wanted to be the one to make the cake, and it looks like her baking skills aren't quite up there lmao. She did end up setting the oven on fire, but Bridget jumped up and extinguished the fire no problem.

Once they came back in and the cake was made for real, then Devon and Nani got on with the business of actually having Eloise blow out the candles.

I want to draw particular attention to this screenshot:

This is like, by FAR, the cutest shot of these three. And it's Eloise with the most wide-eyed excited look, ready to blow out fire. And her moms are just adoring every moment of it!

Eloise aged up with the bonus trait of Top-Notch Toddler, and had the trait of Charmer (which definitely fit her).

She very quickly found all three of her Quirks, those being Early Riser, Loves Books, and Hates Being Carried (this was the only one to surprise me).

The weather continued to get warmer, and the family continued to get closer, and Nani continued to get closer and closer to her due date.

They are absolutely thriving as a household, and they are all ready to welcome a new baby into the house once again.

There’s no easy way to say this so I’m just gonna come right out with it: welcome to the most morbid post in Union history. Half the family is getting wiped out in a single update and I don’t mean to point fingers, but it’s 100% Wyatt’s fault. I really need someone to blame so don’t dare try to take this away from me.

Back to the present and not the corpse-filled near future, we actually have some money to spend on our spawn for the first time ever, so Shajar gets a non-completely-depressing room. No more eating from the cat bowl for our kids!

They are extremely not getting any younger and who tf do I think I am? Someone who knows better than Mufasa?However since a) Jojo is nowhere near his 100k LTW and can’t be taking days off and b) and more importantly, I hate Wyatt, guess who’s carrying this time around!

Kitschy Sculptures Update Renaissance Portraiture for Modern Times

Snarling punk attitude meets reserved Renaissance sculptures in the work of Barcelona-based artist Gerard Mas, a man who also has a penchant for blending humans and animals into bestial portraits. Fifteenth century ladies pick their noses and blow bubbles, sheep's wool becomes a topiary-esque labyrinth, and fractal Romanesco broccoli morphs into a shower cap. As with Qixuan Lim's tiny baby head sculptures , Mas is also interested in infants, placing them atop pigs and in other odd scenarios. Whatever the material and subject matter, Mas's work is surreal, humorous, and always bitingly satirical.

While Mas was establishing his art practice, he was working as an art restorer. For ten years he modeled and carved stone ornaments for façades and churches. Realizing it took more and more time to create his own work, he decided to dedicate himself completely to sculpture. But by then, art restoration had infiltrated his own aesthetic. "The continuous contact with dusty works of art from the past had irreversibly contaminated my way of work," Mas tells Creators. "I did not consider that any inconvenience."

'La Gran Dida'

In La Gran Dida, a human baby lies beside piglets suckling at their mother's teat, sculpted in pink stone. While studying at the Escola de la Llotja in Barcelona, Mas had the opportunity to see pieces made by classmates in polished Portuguese pink marble. "It is a material with great kitsch potential," Mas says, noting that his parents' toilet was made of the very same marble.

Mas's irreverent sculptures pairing 15th century subjects with bubble gum and telephone headsets emerged around the same time. The first was a woman defiantly sticking her tongue out at the viewer. "I was fascinated with the latest gothic sculpture in polichrome alabaster," Mas recalls. "I love this precious way of working, as if the sculptures were jewels. It gives an impression of unreality. I can say the same about the first Renaissance portraits."

'Lady of the Finger in the Nose'

"I thought about the millions of attitudes and situations that old artworks couldn't capture, because they were simply inappropriate for a lady in the 15th century," Mas adds. "I decided to try to do it in an old media and style. It was something like an invented old art. After that, the anachronisms came and pop elements, too, as a natural evolution."

In creating his sculptures, Mas says a dialogue between mystery and materials usually lights the way. And day-to-day events give him all the conceptual fodder he requires—he need only be attentive and able to connect the subject matter. "The idea comes like a flash, but just then an absolute conscious work begins," Mas says. "I make maquettes, I model with clay, I make moulds to make copies in a hard material, then I copy these shapes in definitive materials like stone or wood. It's a long process, but usually I cannot choose the easier media—each piece is who really chooses its matter."

'Lady of the Broccoli'

At 3 Punts Galeria's recent showcase at CONTEXT New York art fair, Mas exhibited one of his alabaster ladies, Lady of the Lollipops. He also showed a full-sized French Bulldog. Currently, Mas is working on human busts that interact with animals, as well as "animal deities."

"[They're] kind of Egyptian and unusual sacred animals," says Mas. "Humans and animals have exactly the same interest for me. Actually there is no border between them."
