I'm so burned out from pkmn
#like in an official sense at least#still love me some good fan content!!!#but official game wise i think scarlet is where my journey is gonna end 😔#been playing since og red version before i could even really read lmao. treasured every moment with this franchise-#-and will continue to through replaying and fan content and fan games but i dont see myself throwing down more money for the games anymore#i think i should have give up after gen 7 becos swsh was ass lol. scarlet was fun but i have not touched that game since beating it#im just tired of paying full price for a half-finished buggy game and paying for a post-game and the push for dlc preorders--#introducing half thought out gimmicks only to drop them the next gen#not to be That Guy but i do think we're finally at the point where there are too many pokemon#i made fun of ppl for saying this back in gen5 and 7 becos like. new exciting things were still being added to the meta!#but now it just feels stale#like ok this gen we're just gonna give u sweepers and kill stall tactics#ok this gen we're gonna give u a bunch of broken/stupidly powerful pkmn have fun#to everyone who is enjoying their time with these games! i am genuinely happy for you!!! i wish i was right there with you!#but its seriously burning me out#scout.txt
