im kinda bad at following recipes bc i always want to mix it up and do my own thing and usually it works out well for me i might get a couple of fails but ive invented some really good recipes like amaretto biscuits with cherry compote inside is my SIGNATURE bake im so proud of it they taste amazing n i could make it with my eyes closed <3 but baking bread doesnt work like that at all because its like ..chemistry and u have to get it exactly right so it took me a lot more tries of messing up but now i actually understand the process finally i can just like make bread out of my imagination yk... its soooo good btw !!

#i always say like my first time baking smth will flop and my second time will be amazing #w bread it took like 10 tries but we got there-_-#i make this rosemary and garlic challah recipe that for some reason turns out great every time #it seems to be like immune from my baking flops im assuming having egg and honey etc in must make it kind of a different beast??idk #the only thing is if i mess up the braids i cant really retry it so then i just have to give up and bake it into a horrible lump T_T #but i like to braid bread and then put it in a loaf tin so it still has a pretty braid on top but its more forgiving <3
