We don't talk enough about the Cali gang's traumatic experiences in s4...
I mean... first the whole Angela situation was traumatic (or at least brought back some bad memories) for all of them.
Then El getting arrested and leaving for the lab was the same way.
The shoot-out happens which... trauma galore.
Then they have to watch Agent Man die in front of them... AND they have to stay in the van with his body for probably a good while as they drove to the place to bury him.
They have the pressure of finding El weighing down on them the whole time and it can't feel good.
When they do find El they're shot at and also have to watch her get shot at and also kinda watch Brenner die.
El tells them their friends in Hawkins are in danger and need help right away. All the hope they had after finding El was stripped away in an instant. Now everyone they know and love is in danger.
They have to hear from El about Max, but they think they've saved everyone else. Again, this hope is ripped away in an instant when they pull up to their town to find it destroyed.
Just... Idk I feel like people overlook the Cali gang's awful situation.
#i know it's because the other groups (and el) are having really terrible times as well#but some people act like the cali gang got off scott-free in this season in the trauma dept when i don't think that's the case at all#i don't like comparing traumas and stuff anyways so it feels bad when i see ppl say the cali gang didn't go through anything#i mean all of season 4 was basically just... trauma trauma truama... for everyone#cali gang#(that's not a tag?)#mike wheeler#will byers#jonathan byers#argyle#byler#<— target audience#stranger things#stranger things 4#jay's saying stuff :)#jay's talking st <3
