Started working on Kingsport Lighthouse to use as an ✨aesthetic✨ settlement for screenshots + art backgrounds, so here’s some WIP photos! This one is intended to be a home base for one of my OCs, but the outdoor layout + overall size isn’t quite what I was going for so I’m not sure if I’m using this location in her actual storyline or not. Either way, I’m keeping it for screenshots/art and purified water lmao

don’t mind the random bloodstain in the kitchen i can’t get rid of it and it’s kind of funny

hc that as a side effect of the oath, the sons of feanor, as they became more and more silmaril-obsessed and oath-driven, start to become more and more like the things they swore the oath to.

like, they begin to look faded and washed out, aside from their eyes, which turn blindingly bright.

despite all the evil they’ve done, the silmarils are hallowed by varda, and so their skin burns to the touch of those who have also done wrong.

(also i think they should glow in the dark a little bit. as a treat.)

by the end of it they’re more wraiths than anything else, halfway between elf and those oathbreakers in RotK; the oath not only mentally but physically consumes them.

#of course this means that by the end maglor and maedhros are almost straight up see-through aside from their eyes #maybe over the centuries maglor slowly become solid again and his eyes begin to lose that brightness #ending up an only slightly brighter than normal version of the tree light #(happy ending) so if he ever ends up in rivendell elrond gets to see him more whole than he ever did before #(sad ending) he’s finally recovered from the effects of the oath but there’s nothing he can do to make up for his actions #anyways #tolkien #the silmarillion #tolkien headcanons #silmarillion headcanons #the sons of feanor #should i tag them all??#maedhros #maglor #celegorm #caranthir #curufin #amrod #amras #OHHH I HAVE ANOTHER THOUGHT what if maglor ends up back in valinor and he HASNT healed all the way but his reborn brothers HAVE

I went to a little pottery festival in a small town close to mine this morning, and I obviously understand I'm a visually alt/queer looking person living in the deep south. Yes. I get that. But the whole time I felt like a horrible fart everyone was desperately trying to pretend they didn't smell. I had a lovely conversation with a Spanish lady I bought a mug from, but many of the vendors desperately avoided my eye contact, and a few flat out ignored me. Which is baffling, do you even want my money?? my scary gay money?

#these feelings are compounded on by the fact ive been feeling awkward about how i move through the world lately so im probably more #emotional about it than usual (most of the time i try to harness “if you cant stand looking at me pluck out your eyes!!!) but it makes me #feel very excluded 😔#on a brighter note i did get an amazingly soft dark umber corduroy shirt and the lady was sooooooooooo sweet and we had a great #conversation and i got two very delicious (and overpriced) tacos. so i think thats a good day reguardless.#also last thing an insanely elderly man infront of a shop exclusively about baby dolls said to me “you look like youre handing out money”#and i have no idea what the hell that means!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what!!! he croaked it at me and i just went “well im just looking around”#anyways who knows. may have been an evil wizards curse #goober.txt

The thing about Pantheon tho is. Where is kittens. All doggies? Cute birds, and giraffes, and any species besides humans. They can't reach Pantheon (is there smh biblical too like only humans have souls = only human's brain cool enough? dk), and even if they could - it's not fair to make them, they don't get the concept

I know it's not that deep but because in a long run there is like a half a humanity gone, do they abandon their pets? Their cows, fishes, who feed the chickens in the Justine's backyard? Is almost all animals became wild one day? Even if this is kind of cool, what about already living, sad doggies in that particular moment? All Alone????

This question is strangely haunting me
