#i don't want to say that there's an undercurrent of misogyny going on here#but...#a woman trying to do right by the two infants she stumbled upon while making a few missteps is not an abuser#subtle favoritism and trying to protect your sons from the callous cruelty of others is not abuse#i mean these are the same people who get mad at little vash for seeking comfort from his adult caregiver instead of his sibling so#not sure what i expected
