for some reason its been bugging me thinking about the alleged lost strangled red sequel because of its highlight, NOT THE OBVIOUS OF IT but like. based on how the previous stories were written it doesn't FEEL like it adds up, just with the fact they are written from the perspective of someone playing the game itself (and guiding someone through the easter eggs) so i cant imagine how it would fit in

so depending on when it was written, would it have been another fucked up easter egg? would the narrator find another weird cartridge and that just Happens in it? the story taking place and written more like the perspective of the pokemon universe feels just a little too inconsistent even for a creepypasta from the 2010s (just based on how its consistently presented as just gameplay)

but also only a few people have apparently been able to read it (or at least snippets) so i wouldn't know if those questions could be answered, and ive only seen a handful of things 'confirmed' about it but its only really hearsay and certain details feel a little.. off?? (specifically i saw someone mention something about a character being called grey. which. feels just a little too coincidental even if they are entirely separate)
