Genuine question if you had to choose Yamcha or Tien which character do you think is better as in development, design and personality.

hard for me to say tbh, i can really make a case for either of them on who's 'better'- not to mention when it comes to design and personality, which would more so be about what i personally prefer instead of making an objective argument

yamcha and tien both develop, just in different veins: tien traditionally goes from a hard antagonist to a reliable ally, while yamcha goes from a hot-headed, hungry fighter striving to be the best to a humbled man who acknowledges his mortality; while he's still ready to fight if he must, he's content with taking the backseat at times

considering super backpeddles on that aspect of yamcha though and undoes any interesting underdog potential, i'd have to say tien at least gets to maintain his changes
