If hypothetically HYPOTHETICALLY Boreas did get a partner, what kind of person would mix well with him? This is all hypothetical of course

THAT'S THE THING I CAN'T IMAGINE *ANY* SORT OF PERSON MIXING WELL WITH HIM. HE'S SOLO. THAT'S IT. HE'S SOLO. it's fucking snipped right at the bud to me. it's hard to imagine him finding a Friend group outside of his family (the Anemoi SPECIFICALLY not even the Eo group at Large as would be usual!!!), not to mention a partner??

"Hey, Leia…" He began, his disposition toned down compared to his usual bright and carefree getup. After the recent profession of feelings for one another, he had some time to think even more about it; an introspection of oneself of sorts. "I've just been thinking, we've been partners for as long as we could remember. Maybe it's because of that that I can't remember the exact moment when I started to think of you differently- in the personal sense. I'm just so used to have you in my life. You're just a staple, kinda like air, water, food… If that makes sense." He rubbed the back of his head, his cheeks reddening. "Well, I don't even know where I'm going here, but I guess, uh… it's easy to say that I can't live without you… or something."

Where have the years gone? The buzzing excitement of aspiration - of finally grasping her dreams and forging them into her reality. Her dream to become a Hero and help those in need, just like her Hero. And though her aspirations were high, the brunette's confidence was flighty. After all, her NEXT ability wasn't anything impressive. It's no Hundred Power or Gravity Manipulation - the ability to create bubbles from any liquid surface wasn't outstanding in any way. Sonia, her mother, knew what dread her and began teaching her martial arts to instill courage and strength and thanks to her parents providing a strong pillar of encouragement, Leia manages to enroll into Heroes Academy.

Leia managed to make a friend in the new chapter of her life. They became something far greater than what she had expected from the beginning. After all, it was like a dream and sometimes those don't come true so could anyone really blame her? To finally become a Hero with the person whom she could claim to be her greatest partner in life? To strive to protect and watch each other's back. To finally work along side her favored Heroes? Everything was too good to be true, and what goes up must come down eventually.

The Ouroboros incident left her in critical condition for what may have felt like days; a scar was all she had to show for the dangers she had put herself through. And though it was may have been the most climatic chapter in her life, it was also the most stressful one to face. Having to reveal the truth behind Zephyr's disappearance to Law. The connection between some of the police officers being in league with the organization. Not to mention, the intense interviews and scoldings. And all she had to say for herself was, 'I had to do it. I wanted to do it for Law' with a piercing, indomitable emerald gaze.

She hadn't registered then, but at that point in her life, Law became someone irreplaceable to her. He was a staple of her every day life now, and on days when they couldn't be together, Leia would imagine as if they could. Their cheery banter, playful teasing, and shared gazes. The brunette hoped that it would last forever as their relationship continued to evolve.

At this point in life, her feelings took flight. A fervor burned within, stronger than the last and suddenly she became more conscious of the wolf. Enraptured by his teal eyes, his bright personality, his homage to his beliefs, and the steady confidence that made him such a reliable and trusting partner. He was so bright, he shone; Law was like the sun. It was no surprise that he made heads turn. It was no surprise to herself that she, out of past experience, couldn't hold herself to his level. She was average in every way.

"--Eh?" her mouth dropped, agape in shock at Law's revelation. Whatever she had in her hand (note: it was her water bottle), it was now on the floor with a thmp.

For what may have felt like forever, all Leia could manage was a blank stare as her brain began to digest the words spoken to her. What was...what was she supposed to do? What did this mean? It felt like...like a confession. Is it a confession?! To her--wait they had already done that song and dance! Leia couldn't help but mentally shake her head at that, but the shade of red on his cheeks changed nothing in this moment. Her heart was performing somersaults, while her brain was making a feeble attempt at stilling it.

At this point, the water bottle had rolled away to the other side of the room, or under the bench, or maybe Law - like the gentleman she thinks he can be - went to pick it up for her. She couldn't say, but as time slowly caught up on her and her vision became more sharp - as the features of her partner in heroics came clear, Leia finally closed her mouth and remembered that breathing was a thing.

And then, his last words replayed in her mind, and she forgot how to breathe again as the red on her face became more evident. Subconsciously, her right hand was raised to cover her mouth before her gaze finally broke away from Law and fell to their feet. Like, what the hell was she supposed to say to that? Handling reciprocated feelings was... Well, she can admit it's a lot tougher than dealing with their average semi-daily missions now. "I..." Leia began, unsure if she should outright say she loved him. She felt the word was too strong as they hadn’t began dating for every long; she was the type to fall hard for someone once she’s begun, "I...m-me too..."

She spoke more quietly this time, a bit more like a murmur, "It's hard to imagine my life without you in it..." It was the truth, after all, the brunette owned a very small collection of merchandise of her Buddy. Taking in a deep breath, she tried to collect herself. It was an embarrassing display - after all, SHE confessed first! Why was she getting so worked up now? Ah, right, she’s just not used to...this. “So... What brings this up?” she asked, curious, “It’s kinda sudden, don’t you think?” ‘cause she definitely thinks so.
