It makes me really sad to say this but I just watched the trailers for Hocus Pocus 2 and Disenchanted and I was WAY more excited for Disenchanted
#like the effects look so much worse than the original and the trailer made it seem so bland?#but the whole concept of disenchanted with the worlds merging and Giselle becoming the wicked stepmother?#WONDERFUL#and the effects in that one actually look good but idk if is because theyre genuinely better or b/c i dont have anything to compare them to#but just generally it doesnt feel as much like a half-baked rewrite of the original as the nea hocus pocus#like??? the prequel bit might be interesting but other than that its just the same storyline?#i swear to god tho if they make Billy an airbrushed cgi nightmare instead of using practical effects#im gonna personally hunt down mickey mouse and display his head in my living room#hocus pocus#hocus pocus 2#enchanted#disenchanted
