#my cats arent here anymore......... my babies arent here anymore.#what the fuck!!!!!!!!!!#why is it that my pets' deaths feel more devastating and soul crushing than when my grandparents died#they were all old i knew it was coming we knew it but still !!!!#i think its bc in the case of cats the dying proccess happens way more suddenly than w humans#so even if they were already sick w something chronic or terminal#they start to show symptoms much later. they only show it when their lives are almost over vc of their instincts to hide weakness etc#with old humans you usually have several weeks or months to prepare for it but w cats its a matter of days#and even vets cant rly tell how much time they have until literally the day they die . its so crazy. anyway. i miss them so much
