ngl it's very funny how my twst and milgram ocs are very similar (akio and hayden, kei and seth, riku and vance (+ he kinda reminds me of seth too), kei's muse is very similar to riley too), but it's like..
me with twst ocs: am i allowed to do this. like, i know twst characters are literally based on villains, but am i allowed to do this. most people i know have very cute and sweet twst ocs, my characters are way too edgy compared to them OH NO-
me with milgram ocs: GOD YOU ALL ARE HORRIBLE. AS YOU SHOULD BE.

I think people may have voted Shidou to be forgiven while voting Fuuta guilty because unlike Fuuta, Shidou recognizes that what he did was wrong and admitted that he doesn't deserve forgiveness while Fuuta is in denial and since his cyberbullying ended up pushing someone to kill themselves, his denial may frustrate people. On the other hand, there's no way he could've known that'd happen and Shidou killed his victims on purpose and was arguably worse than Fuuta was.
Yeah, you're right about that! Personally, I have a very, very soft spot for vigilante characters who recognize they've taken things too far but don't know how to get out. Knowing what I know now, I still would've voted Fuuta unforgivable bc he needs a wake up call, but I also would stick with the unforgivable vote for Shidou.
I think it'll be interesting to see what the second MV brings for Fuuta. Personally, I'm not totally on board with the suicide theory. I think while it's definitely possible, there's a lot that points to Fuuta's victim actually being at someone else's hands.
The other two characters in Milgram who are generally theorized to have pushed someone to suicide are Mahiru and Kazui, and if we look at the reenactment of their murders with Es, we see that Es' shoes are off, a common indicator in Japanese media that a character has committed suicide:

Meanwhile with Fuuta, both of Es' shoes are still on:

And looking at the way Fuuta is handling Es' body, it actually looks like he's trying to talk to him, despite Es being clearly dead? We all know that Fuuta didn't mean to cause someone's death and is heavily in denial, but I think this illustration takes on a different meaning if we approach it from the theory that someone else had seen Fuuta's inflammatory Tweets and took it upon themselves to enact "justice" on the girl.
anyway enough fuuta rambling
I suppose Shidou's vote worked out in the end, as him being spared Kotoko's rage meant that he was able to treat the "unforgivable" prisoners so..... But if the "Shidou botched multiple surgeries in the hopes of finding a compatible organ donor for his dying wife" theory is true then my vote would not have changed LMAO unforgivable as hell.
