Man I kind of miss watamote again
#.txt#wvery time i reread it i find something new#specially bc newer chapters help contextualize things a lot or they just show the results kf the things that happen in previous chapters#i think the best example is mako and yuri bc like#they're best friends but mainly bc yuri doesnt talk to much people and mako pities her a lot#so mako lets a lot of things go but Yuri doesnt grow much as a result and their relationship ends up being a little superficial#so with mako getting closer to yoshida and Yuri gaining a new friend group mako starts being more confrontational and creating tensions#as well as yuri realizinf she hates being condescended to. its good#watamote is not perfect but it does a good job at replicating the experience of being a teen and being weird
