#doctor who#a lot of times i think these answers overlap#but i still think theyre different questions#who is my first doctor is a very complicated question for me to answer#i was 2 and a half when the show came back#i grew up on it#my earliest memories of doctor who are from series 3#but i know i had alresdy seen doctor who before that#i almost certainly saw some 9 before that#and even then its made more complicated still#i was catching random episodes my parents let me stay up to watch during rtd#i started watching every episode as it aired with 11#(series 6 specifically i tried with series 5 but got too frightened by the next time trailers)#so who is my first doctor?#thats why the question for me is about who comes to mind most often when i think of the doctor more generally#and thats 10#sure probably because i grew up on him#i think for a lot of people the question of who the essential doctor is to them is the same as who their first is#but i digress
