what drives me up a wall every time, is when a show takes their ensemble cast, who all bounce off each other so well, and arguably is the strength of the show, and separates them. i get that it is sometimes necessary for plot reasons, okay, an episode or two apart, distance makes the heart grow fonder, but the whole season? i also understand there are sometimes filming constraints, where certain actors arent available for certain days, okay, well, lets figure out a schedule that works for everyone then? lets not make subpar entertainment just because you are in a rush to get the season out and make the most money? lets not disrespect the audience's time and emotional investment by giving them a storyline that is no ones first choice?
