Reasons why Oscar Pine and Callum are actually the same person:

Human with magic, either the only or one of the only.

Said magic is more nature based, Sky (wind) for Callum and given what we know about the Maidens and the twins shapeshiftinf plus the green theme I’m assuming Oscar’s is related with nature.

Fourteen turning Fifteen soon (probably) (has Callum turned fifteen yet?)

Didn’t originally ask for their adventure, but decided nonetheless

Parents dead, but living aunt

Ended up unlocking a part of their power while falling from a great height, probably would have died with out it

Has/had to use an artifact to use magic (honestly we don’t know all of RWBY’s magic rules yet but it looks like the cane is important for using magic)

Older, blond friend that helped train and is almost like an older brother to them with a friend (well one was more then just a friend) named Pyrrha

Another friend with (probably moon based) magic, or magicy powers that’s their shipped with either new side canon or seemly much evidence. Also leader/lancer relationship.

Evil person is somehow immortal or at least close, also with magic that sets them apart from other people

Multiple kingdoms, not currently really at war but kinda close and have fought before. And if you count Menagerie as a kingdom then it’s five each

Somehow related, even if not directly, to royalty (adopted by the king/king of vale)
