something i will say that felt off with buffy season 6 vs seasons 1-5 is that it felt REALLY heavy on the sex scenes. like i know season 4 had a whole episode where it was like riley and buffy couldnt control themselves and spent the entire episode having sex, but it felt like season 6 just had so many more sex scenes scattered throughout. idk if it was bc of the change in network allowed whedon to have more, or if it was bc they wanted to show how heavily she was relying on spike to distract her or what but it just felt off
