writing challenge 001: one year later.
Once the huntress was reverted back to normal after the veil went back up, she was left to deal with the consequences of her actions. She decides that itโs in her and her fatherโs best interest to stay away from all things supernatural and hunter alike, taking a much needed trip to Paris for a good portion of the year-- roughly around 8-9 months.
It takes a while for Allison to feel like herself once again, often recalling her actions while under the influence of the mark, feeling like she acted no better than her aunt Kate. She had become the kind of person she condemned; a merciless hunter. As a result, Allison feels tremendous guilt, and tries her best to forget what took place in Beacon Falls so that she was able to enjoy her stay in Paris. But despite her efforts, the recollection of it all lingered in the back of her mind, something that sheโs certain will be difficult if not impossible to shake out.
As much as she tried to stay away from being a huntress, she felt the need to do something. She hated sitting around and pretending things were fine and normal when they werenโt at all, and she was well aware of that fact. Perhaps it was apart of her that felt, in a sense, she could atone for the damage she caused back in Beacon Falls. Whatever the case, old habits die hard, and she finds herself taking up the bow once more in order to see her code through. We protect those who cannot protect themselves.
Allison and her father wind up in New Orleans upon hearing that it was a city where both humans and supernatural coexist, something that sheโd never heard of before and she thought to be impossible.
