#i’m tired of seeing the same patterns in comments everwhere

it hurts me to see people using ai when they’re commenting on fics. it’s so insincere and believe it or not, authors can always tell because it’s painfully obvious that those words are not coming from a human. maybe it’s just me but i’d rather prefer a short and sweet “this is so good” or “i love this” over a chatgpt generated comment, and the thought of a fic being uploaded to an ai engine only for it to give the same structured review —because it never captures the genuine feeling of a comment— to every user does not sit right with me. borderline makes me uncomfortable. i know in my case my fics are out in the open (not locked on ao3 & tumblr) but please, don’t feed ai engines with fics by uploading them there.
