i just finished cruel summer (binged it in a day) and i genuinely cannot recommend it enough.
#i’ve seen a lot of comparison to pll#and i do agree there are a lot of similarities#but the way cruel summer tackles an inappropriate relationship is genuinely just perfect#where in pll it was romanticized#cruel summer shows how harmful grooming is#and we get to watch the victim experience therapy which i think is so important#also spoiler alert#but we get a wlw romance by the end which is a+++*#think pll if ezra had actually been regarded as a villain & they had ended it when they should’ve after the first a reveal#cruel summer#pretty little liars#freeform#cruel summer freeform#abc family
