so I hate to bring tidings of a source most people hate, but I figured hey you guys want all examples of plural characters so why not? so uhhh I have. two super bad representations, one pretty okay one, and one maybe. the first bad one is Mr. Garrison & Mr. Hat, and theyre both shitheads but theyre just about the longest known system in the series, most prominent in earlier seasons. the second one is Tuong Lu Kim (aka the city wok guy) & co., whom are revealed to be plural in S15E6. Biiiig tw for that ep though for SUPER bad stereotypes all around.
the one actually pretty okay one is Cartman and Kenny, temporarily, throughout the second half of season 6. They're a possessive system after Kenny dies and, long story short, inhabits Cartman's body. The whole class acknowledges it, Kenny is still the same as ever, he takes front and speaks sometimes, and they act pretty much the same as ever. And whenever theyre addressed without Kenny, the others always speak up and are like "actually theres __ people because Kenny is still sharing Cartman's body". I'd say it's actually handled remarkably well and no one questions it except for a doctor that doesn't know Cartman. /g it gets a B- from me /j
the last one is a maybe, but Kenny McCormick, Princess Kenny, and Mysterion have a lot of traits of being plural. Kenny and Mysterion specifically talk very differently and Mysterion seems a lot more comfortable speaking up than Kenny, plus the time they switched back and forth between each other's voices because something shocoed them. Princess acts rather differently too, using she/her pronouns when the others use he/him and seemingly being attracted to boys, which Kenny hasn't expressed an interest in. (Mysterion has never expressed interest in anyone at all) She also only acts this way when she puts on her whole outfit and wig, and one time when the others were playing medieval they asked for "Lady McCormick"(aka Princess) and Kenny looked to the side and after a pause said, "She's not here right now". Their parents are actually awful and along with all the d--ths he remembers, it's definitely enough to cause a traumagenic system. again a maybe but interesting nonetheless
anyways thats my forbidden south park knowledge, I bore the curse of watching it so you all don't have to. i hope this is somehow useful to you?? i totally dont blame you if you delete this whole thing lmao, hey it was worth it. love your blog, we have it on notifications ✨ /lh
Hello and Thank you! We are glad you like our blog.
We already had Tuong Lu Kim on the list, but thank you for the others, theyve been added(The maybe has gone in the maybe). Dont ever feel bad for sending in a 'cringe' or 'problematic' source, the only ones we arent taking currently are specifically horror movies centered around the fact that the killer/monster is plural- this may change in the future but not right now, we have a *extremely* hefty backlog to work through.
Villains are fine, '''problematic''' characters are fine, '''problematic''' sources are fine, '''cringe''' sources are fine. This is a categorization list, not a 'objectively good rep' list.
As a gentle reminder, its possible to check the linked list with control+f or alphabetically for the source and/or characters you want to submit, this way you dont need to spend a bunch of time typing something that has already been added.
