I'm sorry if you've answered this before but I saw your itachi HC and got curious, bc most of the time I see people ship him with kisame but it looks like you just see them as friends. Who do you prefer to ship them with instead? Do you like Kakashi x kisame?? It seems like a crackship but I've seen art and fanfic of it that's really cool

I’ve never really thought about Kisame ships TBH, though I’ve been introduced to KisameXObito (i have noticed some people hate it, though if i were to write it it would be the same way i write all my couples. Them finding mutual respect and love). Though if i were going crack ship KisameXGai would make more sense to me since they’re the one’s who always fight each other and i love that dynamic. Plus As much as i love shipping Kakashi, I don’t like shipping him with everyone XD. KisameXGAi has a more interesting dynamic to explore.

As for Itachi, he’s a bit more open becauae he’s only about five years older than Sasuke, meaning he has more options. Crack ship wise i like ItachiXTemari cuz that seems... interesting lol. But i do also like ItachiXTenzo (Tenzo being about six years older than Itachi it’s the biggest age gap I’ll go for.), as well as ItachiXthe girl he actually liked from the Uchiha clan (the clan is so big. I know they all call each other cousins, but the bloodline before Itachi kills them all is quite wide and they do marry inside the clan meaning i’m assuming that there’s actually a huge liniage diffrence in the clan so while they are distantly related, they’re not actually like first, second or even third cousins. Probably more like 8th or 9th. i can see why people don’t ship in the family and respect that. But these are such distant cousins that in real lfe their families might not even know each other except for the shared name)

I can handle other ships like ItachiXHinata, ItachiXSakura or other ships involving Itachi and kids from Sasuke’s gen (this would of course be in au’s where he doesn’t die, cuz in cannon he can’t really date anyone. He never opens himself up to that or gets close to anyone but kisame who is Kakashi’s age so... i automaticlly don’t ship cuz of the big age gap. which is 10-11 years for people who wants to tell me Itachi’s ‘only’ none years younger than Kakashi. Kakashi and Kisame are both 31 in shippuden while Itachi is 20-21)
