#i've only read one torchwood novel so i can't really give any recommendations for those

What's your favorite top five Torchwood fanfic/audios/novels? Looking for some good recommendations, if you feel like it.

1. For fanfic I 1000% recommend Just this once by @ultraviolet-eucatastrophe if you haven’t read it already, it’s AMAZING and a must-read if you have the time!!!

2. Written by GDL is the BF audio Dinner and A Show! This one is Ianto and Tosh in between seasons 1 and 2, so there’s some well-written angst about Jack being gone (and Tosh’s feelings for Owen) as well as a lot of funny banter.

3. The BF audio The Last Beacon also written by Gareth David-Lloyd. It has Ianto and Owen, and it’s so funny!!! Their dynamic is really good in this.

4. Obviously, Broken by Joseph Lidster has to be on this list. It’s a BF audio with Jack and Ianto that basically fills in some gaps in season one and actually shows the aftermath of Cyberwoman for Ianto. It’s the first BF audio I listened to and it’s so so good.

5. Zone 10 by David Llewellyn is an underrated Tosh standalone BF audio that I really enjoyed. It has a lot of really good moments and the other characters are great too!

Bonus: This isn’t a novel but The Torchwood Archives book by Gary Russell is a lot of fun and has entries written by Jack after the events of each Torchwood episode from the first two seasons. There’s a bunch of funny tidbits in it that I loved.
