manager making unsolicited comments on my personality is pissing me off so bad I might actually go back to school
#misc.txt#they doubled down on how they want me to be 'the person i was in the interview' again in an email#i.e. extroverted and masking at my highest capacity#and im honestly sitting here wondering if I should take the job back or like. retry for my associates. I genuinely am.#I already have another part time job that nets me ~700 to work 8 days a month#deeply unprofessional behavior ESPECIALLY the added emphasis on 'this advice would do you good even if you dont end up working here'#just one after another backhanded compliment. the only talking to abt my personality i should be getting#is if I am creating a toxic work environment or hindering the work we need to do in which case it should be clearly worded as such#not just. 'youre so pleasant to talk to youre usually so quiet (derogatory)'#and this overly familiar 'we've been so blessed to see you grow and open up' you are not my mom ? idk. idk#I think they think they're encouraging me to not be 'shy' but they are fucking not because that is not whats going on lmfao
