In Brunei Darussalam, the first day of celebration are usually celebrated at Teng Yun Temple, Jalan Sungai Kianggeh, Bandar Seri Begawan

According to the story source I got from Brunei Resources blog @brunei_resources, the Teng Yun Temple (formerly known as Twa Pa Kung Temple) was built on 1918 by Dato Cheok Boon Siok, who was the wealthiest Chinese men in that year and also owned several land and shop houses earlier in the area
