28/04/2017 I have a very particular way of making notes for math, it's probably a bit odd but it works for me. Firstly, I go through the textbook notes, and write out notes from it in my math notebook. I always have a specific colour for the unit we're doing (eg. Purple for number sequences and series), and I write these notes down in black. I always do this before the lesson. Then, during the lesson when the teacher is explaining things, I scribble down anything that makes my notes make sense or wasn't mentioned in the textbook (eg. Shortcuts or why certain steps happen). I write these down in another notebook. It doesn't matter how near these in class notes are because it's about getting the extra information down instead of making them pretty. Lastly, when I get home I go through and review the notes I made in class, and add in the extra information in the same colour as the title. Just my way of doing things 👍
