I still think it's funny that everytime Tasuku ends up flirting with Izumi there is also a mention of "he forgets she's a woman and thinks of her as one of the boys", like, really helping your case Tasuku, happy pride by the way

Banri being basically kidnapped by Matsukawa to participate at the auditions for theater, that Banri doesn't slightly care about at this point, knowing it ends with Banri being the most addicted to acting actor of the company, who, in the JPN server, has been training to be co-director with Izumi because he loves it SO MUCH.....

sometimes you really are just one lucky kidnapping away from discovering a new dream.

first of all, i can't believe this is a canon trait Izumi has, second, why on EARTH would you say that to a guy who has clearly made moves onto you, third of all, so does it mean that when Itaru pinned her on the wall that one time Izumi canonically felt a little bit of something Hewwo.

a3 really spoiled me in term of found family and i don't think anything else could ever come close actually.

but also specifically the themes of regrets along the oldest characters and the intense loneliness that is taken so seriously? how each character who have a loneliness problem gets their companions approach them like feral cats but like, with different approach. Itaru, Azuma, Hisoka, they all needed different ways to get them out of their way to push people away (and Azuma still struggles with it but his troupe is so patient with his relapses).

A3 is SO so compassionate with loneliness, and is also so compassionate with regrets. The Autumn Troupe is full of regrets and all of them have to deal with them differently, from "if you regret not having done so before, do it now", to "you can't go back to a life without your regret, find a way to move on" and all of them are appropriate.

and my god the found family, especially Spring. In fact the fact all four troupes have different bounds specifically so Spring being Found Family really stands out even more because their dynamic (and literally calling each other mom/dad/siblings) stands out compared to say, Autumn's camaraderie where even two people who are somewhat related are more like "eat shit and die (lovingly)" than admitting they're family.

and just HHHHH the character work into all the characters and the way every single one of them have to approach what they need to get better at their own rhythm and in their own way.

your character work must be at least Nearly That Good if you're going to talk to me about character arcs, found family, regrets and loneliness. minimum.

Tasuku constantly having a mental shutdown when people talk about Tsumugi having girlfriends is always golden though. why are you so mad bro. need help bro.

seeing him say that about Sakyo and Izumi while Banri will become Izumi's codirector is making me sick as hell, the growth of that man. "I don't see why i should have an opinion we already have two coaches" and he'll become coach in the future. He's so special. My favorite chewing toy.

one good thing about a3en closing is that i was seriously going insane in the rankings in a way no normal human being should be physically able to pull off.

it's not even choices had been made this is a terrible lack of self care going on. a3en ended to save me in particular.
