After spending a day in the dry Idaho desert, I decided to drive North to the mountains. I was greeted with freshly fallen rain and swollen rivers. I wouldn't drive very far before stopping to get out and take more pictures. I love living in a state where I can be deep in an old growth Juniper forest along the Owhyee Upland Byway and then 2 hours later be deep in the mountains with the fresh steel or ponderosa pine and rain ❤ I have an amazing weekend and haven't even unpacked my car.
