aegon is such an interesting character bc hes a sadistic child fighter child rapist alcoholic etc but until the moment of his coronation he is also fully aware his father never wanted him to be king and that he was never meant to be king and that he is 1000% not cut out for any of it. even tells aemond hell run away and never return and let him be king and tbh that would be the better option. has like 0 interest in fighting rhae throughout all of his teenage years. like he is absolutely horrible but more self aware abt it than lets say joffery ever was
