I made some pretty big changes to my album this month, cut some tracks, renamed a few, & wrote a new one about my addictions, which is a topic I didn't really touch on in my other semi-autobiographical songs. I'm calling it dragon race (chasing the dragon, y'know ) & its become my favorite after testament lll & psalms 51:50, which is wild bc those two songs took like 2 months to write vs 2 days for this one. I also decided on a possible name for the album-suffer twice (or sufferx2, not sure which yet). idk if I want to release singles but if I do it'll probably be one of those 3 & I'll post it on here once I'm able to afford to actually produce a demo.

#i have the clearest picture of how i want the production to sound on this track too #for the others i have melodies & some instrumentation/ production beats but this one I just hear the entire completed song in my head #if i can use my newly discovered nepo connection to chappell roan i will be so happy. but its just sooo tenuous #the mother of my friend emma (who is currently in peace corps for the next 2 yrs unfortunately for me) is bffs w/chappells mom #and i only know this now bc our mutual friend told me when i played a chappell song in the car #like EXCUSE ME???#im still shocked. emma literally is like honorary cousins w/Chappell they played together as kids. why tf does sbe have to be in the corps #this is literally my only chance . im a working class woman in her late 20s w/no direct connections
