wyll has a specific thing for rangers and here is my evidence
has flirtatious class-specific dialogue at the tiefling party but ONLY for ranger and ONLY above an approval threshold
calls minsc 'the beloved ranger'
becomes a ranger in the hells if he breaks his pact with mizora & loses his warlock levels
#bg3 spoilers#in conclusion he is down for cyrus sooooooooo bad soooooooooo quickly which like we all already knew but#alas i dont think i could make a ranger multiclass work on top of the intended bardlock/bardadin#but its cute to think about wyll wanting to learn cyrus' survivalist skills#if i wanted to get naval gaze-y and character analysis-y id say ranger as a class really exemplifies#who wyll/the blade of frontiers wants to be without having to rely on mizora for that power#ie archetypical solely self-reliant monster hunter type#it is like so much of wyll founded on a certain degree of romanticism#but being able to do all that while also finally being his own man & owning his own soul again is such a lovely ending for him
