i think i change my mind on richard siken's crush
#the first time i read it i called it beautiful but like mostly incoherent and incohesive#i reread some bits today and maybe its bc i havent gotten the change to pick apart poetry in a fun way in too long but. actually#i appreciate it more noq#now#also i think his poetry is best when its read aloud. i found some channels on youtube that do that and they all have like under 1k views#but r so well done!!!!#anyway. sorry to mr siken i get what u r trying to say purely based on vibes#i wish i could know what was actually going on in his mind but i think theres fun in never rly knowing#you are jeff is a personal favourite now#actually i'll talk some more: i think i said this last time but the recurring motif is violence and love always coming together is rly#special#bc its not just shallow violence sometimes its gore and its uncomfortable but u rly.
