funny that yoshida is actually the one who will be in trouble with his shady organization, not denji. denji asks what's gonna happen and yoshida deflects with his "i won't let you eat this cake" flirting.

It makes me laugh that someone always tries to keep Asa away from Denji and vice versa.

And he casual way he says goodbye is so weird... Like he wants to get out of there as fast as possible and stay away from Asa. So sorry but this guy makes me laugh a lot. I love you so much Yoshida lol

•Anyway... In previous chapters we saw that Nayuta drives Denji away from Mitaka.

And in today's chapter (121) Yoshida does the same. He warns or threatens Asa telling to stay away from Denji (he thought she was a normal girl before, but now he thinks otherwise about Asa, maybe…)

It's funny because Hirofumi was the one who introduced them (chapter 104). It is very likely that he is now suspicious of Asa and will think that she is dangerous. And his job is to continue to protect Denji, either so that he does not reveal his secret identity (Chainsaw Man) and keep him away from all danger.

It's real, it's just like a novel lol What kind of Romeo and Juliet are they?

Where the protagonists suffer for not being able to be together. And the funny thing about all this is that while the others try to keep them apart, in one way or another, they will try to be together.

•Denji's path to happiness is to be accepted and loved by others. He spent a lot of his life being alone, so, it is normal for him to want acceptance from other people.

Does Denji want the love of the fans or a more intimate love? You know what I mean.

Also not to be forgotten is his monologue when he talked about Denji's heart. "Everyone wants the chainsaw heart, but what about Denji's heart? Nobody wants it, huh?!"

And remember in part one, he wanted a lot of girlfriends, but that can change now if he gets true love. We don't know if he will be with Asa or someone else.

Maybe, at some point, Denji will have to choose if he wants the love he gets for being Chainsaw Man or if he wants the love for being himself. Fame or real love, take your pick.

And in Asa's case, somehow, she has to learn to accept and love herself as she is in order to achieve her own happiness. How could she love other people if she doesn't love herself first, Mmmm?

•They are lonely teenagers looking for love and both are looking for some kind of connection with another person, be it friendship or romantic love. Strong and real relationships, not fake.

Yes, the love of family and friends is important, but romantic love is different in many ways. That special connection that you can have with another person makes it unique. And it's possible that both Denji and Asa need to feel that true feeling, you know?

Did you realize that these brotherly relationships are almost always obstacles to reaching the long-awaited romantic love? I mean, if it's not the family, it's the enemies that stand between the romance.

Having family, friends and a partner would be very greedy for them, right? So they have to choose because they can't have everything. Either it's family/friends or it's romance

And here comes the great dilemma they have because they both have secret identities. Because how could they have a real relationship if they hide their identities? Denji being the chainsaw. Yoru desperately seeking to create a weapon to kill Chainsaw Man, and Asa witnessing all this trouble.

this is still technically a blog for my interests so here’s this:

recently in the newest chapter in chainsaw man yoshida sets denji up with this girl in his class and she touches denji inappropriate which is bad on its own obviously… but what i also find distasteful is people acting as if yoshida did this on purpose.

yoshida is seen caring very deeply for his responsibilities, and is seen even being lenient with denji and actually giving him options about the whole nayuta situation. he cares about his job. what he does is to benefit denji in his own personal opinion as someone who is still apart of the public safety team. he knows better.

he wants denji to live a life of normalcy that’s why he chose to separate asa because she is still dangerous because of yoru and saw that she’d only bring trouble to him lol. he set the two on a date UNKNOWING that it would unfold that way… it’s not his fault ???? anyway, i do hope the girl turns out to be a devil so she can. die. cause fuck her but leave my boy yoshida alone
