#if the fandom hasn't fully imploded by then lool
Note
That Billboard article disproves every single batshit crazy theory about Jimin and Billboard that PJMS have been getting high on all year. It was a shitty article but if there's one silver lining that comes from it it's that we now have a better idea of what went down with FACE and its no surprise his solo stans are partly to blame.

It's interesting how these things always turn out, isn't it. At the time when I was writing paragraphs on end, right from the first mention of money raised, talking about how solo stans are extremely myopic and tend to have close to zero sense of ordered thinking and consequences, and that PJMs are unfortunately the loudest of the bunch, it probably seemed like I was being dramatic lmao. And when I mentioned the obvious history Billboard has with the tannies and HYBE, that too for some reason felt too hard to believe for certain factions of people here. And then when I mentioned why a pivot by BigHit, though slow and inadequate, could've made sense to be their next step, people too couldn't see past their akgae theories to grasp other obvious reasons why that was now necessary again given recent history. Billboard has played this game before and the collateral damage is always the boys and the fandom, but this time around I only hope Jimin is somehow spared the worst of it. Solos are usually useful idiots but this time around, their lack of understanding about the environment the tannies operate in, could have real cost and directly counteract their goals of Jimin getting certain season-end recognitions.
ARMYs have seen this happen before so it's somewhat expected and less infuriating to see now. It's still all just a bit sad and such a shame really.
Anyway, I can feel your frustration but there's no point whining over spilled milk, as they say. I suggest you channel your anger into continuing to support the guys. You didn't ask, but I'd suggest: (1) Stream FACE and the other releases, (2) watch any of their content you've previously bookmarked to see, (3) find like-minded ARMYs to destress with, (4) go out into the real world and do something fun and/or productive. I have a feeling we'll be playing this game all over again in 2024, but for different reasons and with a new grudge.
