Delaney sighed in relief as she finally saw the delivery truck pull into the parking lot of Teller-Morrow. Making her way over she smiled "Hey Kevin". She took the clipboard from his hands and checked over the cases as he unloaded them. Kevin was an ok guy. He gave off the odd creepy vibe every now and then but Delaney never paid him no mind. He was just over friendly. Driving around delivering beer all day he must not get much social interaction and Delaney was too nice to tell him he needs to rein it in. She never wanted to hurt any ones feelings. As usual they made small talk as he helped her move the cases to the clubhouse. Signing the last slip to complete the order, Delaney turned to hand Kevin the clip board. A small gasp leaving her lips as she came to realise he was stood very close to her. Forcing an awkward laugh she stepped back and thrust the clipboard between them. "Here you go Kevin. It's all signed and dated." Kevin never took his eyes off of her to check the paperwork. A creepy grin settled on his face. "Has any one ever told you you smell so good?" Delaney swallowed thickly "not after lifting those heavy boxes" she shuffled behind the bar. "I must be pretty sweaty about now" she let out a small giggle trying to lighten the mood. She tried her best to ignore the unsettled feeling in her stomach as she started to stock the bar. She needed to keep her hands busy or her panic would spill over and she didn't know what she would do. "I better get going. Need to get the truck back to the yard before closing." Kevin muttered and Delaney couldn't explain the relief she felt that he was leaving. Nodding her head she gave him a small smile and a wave and turned to open another box of bottled beer. That's when she heard it. She almost didn't catch it. her blood ran cold. "Your hair looks so pretty up like that. I'd give anything to run my fingers through it". She couldn't belive it. That's exactly what her 'secret admirer' had written in the letter taped to her front door. She snapped around to where Kevin was stood but he was already gone. She let out a breath she didn't know she was holding when she heard the van start up and pull through the gates.
It couldn't be him. He was just a regular guy. Ok he was a bit off but she never would of thought it could be him. No it was just a coincidence. That's all it could be. He didn't know where she lived. There was no way it was him. Quickly finishing the stocking of the bar and placing any leftover bottles in the storage room. Delaney quickly cleaned the bar over and made her way out. Her hands shook so bad as her mind kept replaying Kevin's words over and over again.
Finally arriving home, Delaney poured herself a glass of wine and settled down for the evening. She couldn't shake the uncomfortable feeling Kevin had left her with and her mind was on overdrive.  Sleep wouldn't overcome her so at half past midnight she popped 2 sleeping tablets and drifted off peacefully.
When Delaney awoke she couldn't help but feel like something was off. She couldn't explain it but it was an overwhelming feeling. Sitting up against the headboard Delaney  checked her phone. There was a text from Gemma asking her to pick up some bits for the party on the way in which wasn't unusual. Gemma made a big deal of these parties for her boys. The weirdest notification however came from her home security system. Ever since Delaney has been getting these notes and flowers she installed various security cameras around her home. 4 on the outside and one in her hallway monitoring her front door. Even with those she didn't feel safe. She just felt that if she could capture footage of this guy she could find out who it was and why he was going this. Unfortunately it's just been delivery guys and shadows captured so far. Up until now that is. Delaney's skin crawled as she rewinded  the footage. Outside her bedroom window watching her sleep was a man in a black hoodie, dark jeans and a black cap. She left her curtains and window open last night as she was too warm. Her trying to get comfortable in her own home had given this creep a perfect view of her sleeping. She felt so exposed. So vulnerable. Those sleeping tablets knocked her straight out into a deep sleep. Tears fell from her eyes as she realised he could have done anything to her and she wouldn't have woken. This was too much of a close call for her. This man, whoever he is, is dangerous. She needed to do something. And fast
