Bird of a Feather AU headcanons time!

The colors of their wings change to fit the one of the flock, so they all blend in together as a unit. Gabriel's flock in SkyHeaven took after Gabriel's white wings, and The Fallen Flock took after Beelzebub's black.

But if somebody doesn't feel like part of the flock but instead forms a bond with somebody else, their feathers will quickly shift colors to blend in with the new partner. Kinda like… creating a new pattern of color for a little new flock <3

This puts Aziraphale and Crowley in a MESSY POSITION since they are seeing each other in secret and still have to return to their respective flocks at the end of the day

Aziraphale just straight up LIES to everybody with zero regrets lmao

On the other hand, the day that Gabriel, after being beaten up by Beelzebub, discovers some black feathers in his own wings, he goes in FULL DENIAL MODE because there is NO WAY HE LIKES THE ENEMY!!1!(one)11!!!

Michael finds him with his wings unkept and asks what happened, so Gabriel straight up PANICS and pretends he fought with Beelzebub and WON lmao

The face of a man who didn't spent the last 4 hours plucking away every single black feather from his wings lmao

Birds of a feather AU hedcanon time! Beelzebub is a seraphim but cuts the feathers of their own wings to appear like a dominion and keep in line all the other dominion of The Fallen Flock.

Dominion usually uses intimidation to earn respect, but Bee counts on their look to intimidate and on their seraphim ability to glamour others and convince them to do what they wants, submitting easily. Nobody suspects that they are a seraphim 👀
