A little Grumpy Omega Roy fic

Jamie didn't notice the missed call until he was out of the shower and ready to collapse into bed. Training had been brutal, but it was what he'd expected when he'd gotten the call to play for England.

It wasn't odd for him to have a missed call. Normally it was from one of his agents or a reporter or mostly, his Dad who kept finding new ways to contact him despite Jamie blocking every unknown number flat popped up across his screen.

What was strange about this call was that it was from Roy, and Roy rarely called him. Normally, Roy would spam him with texts despite all of them teasing him about his age. He hated phone calls more than Jamie did, so seeing a missed call without any texts had the alpha growing nervous as he fumbled to call him back.

Roy didn't pick up, and Jamie couldn't help but let out a little whine. Being away from his omega and his child was already a lot, but this had Jamie close to driving to make sure they were both okay.

He was starting to spiral a little when Roy's name flashed up on the screen, and Jamie didn't hesitate answer.

"Roy? Everythin' alright?"

There was silence on the other end. All Jamie could really make out was the faint sound of Roy's breathing. The little hitch in it made Jamie want to whine because he knew, somehow he just knew, that Roy was hurting.

"Babe, talk to me. Has something happened?"

"Jamie", Roy sounded exhausted and sad. It made the alpha want to bundle him in his arms and press kisses to his face until he relaxed but all Jamie could do was grip his phone tight, "Jamie, your dad showed up at the nursery and tried to take Elodie"

Jamie's blood ran cold at those words, so many things bombarded his mind all at once with panic being the main one.

"I'm coming home", is all Jamie could get out. His heart was hammering as he sat up on the bed, already reaching for keys and trying to think of the fastest way back to his family. He needed to be there. He needed to protect them. If he'd been there, Elodie would have been with them, she would have been safe.

"Jamie, Jamie, stop", Roy raised his voice a little and when Jamie growled, the omega growled back louder until Jamie passed, "Elodie is safe. He never even got to see her. Look, turn on your camera"

Jamie didn't hesitate to switch to video call.

Instantly, his daughters image filled the screen. She was snoring audibly. One of her little fists grasped at the shirt Roy was wearing, right over his heart and her little tuft of curls were in disarray as if she'd been asleep for a while now.

Seeing her made him relax. His body sagging as he sat back down on the bed.

"He didn't touch her?"

"He didn't even know she's a she, babe", Roy reassured, "He showed up, gave our names and showed proof that he was your dad. They called me because he's not on the list and when I told them not to let him near Elodie, he threw a bitch fit"

"Thank fuck", Jamie sighed, running a hand over his face and smiling slightly when Roy angled the phone so he could see both of them, "I can tell the coach there's been an emergency"

"No, Jamie. We're okay. We'll see you at the weekend, yeah? Just two more days love", Roy argued back with a glare, "I just wanted to tell you before some asshole got word of your dad's arrest and you'd to find out from Instagram or some shit"

Jamie nodded, biting at his lip as he watched them. His chest aching to be there with them, to scent them both and make sure they were truly okay because he knew Roy was downplaying it to make Jamie comfortable.

"I'll be home soon, yeah?", Jamie whispered, blinking back the tears he felt burning his eyes.

"Yeah love, you will", Roy gave a soft smile but it didn't quiet reach his eyes and from the way Eloide started to grumble, Jamie knew that Roy's scent must be giving away how he really felt.

"Love you", Jamie replied, wanting to burn the words into both of their minds until it stuck.

"Love you too, babe", Roy replied before hanging up and then Jamie was alone again.

And all he could do was wish that they were here with him, safe and sound and within his sight.

What do I mean by creature?

Anything living that is non-human. Yes, this means that plants count. These can be real or fictional! That's why I used the word "creature" instead of animal. Bacteria, plants, or anything that isn't animal are still super cool to me and I enjoy looking at them :)!!

While I may praise and adore fictional creatures, that does not mean I agree with the things their creator says. I don't want to exclude myself from certain media just because the creator is a shithead. Check rule 8 for what I specifically do not condone.

No ocs :(. I love when people make original characters but this would just turn into a rate-my-oc page if I counted those.

If I give your submission a bad rating, please don't harass me over it. I'm entitled to an opinion, good or bad. I try to be positive but if I genuinely don't like something I'll say it.

PLEASE correct me if I get information wrong. I don't want to spread misinformation, even if it's just for a niche indie game.

When sending media, please make the subject clear. Also please try and avoid links. The only links I will click on is YouTube and if the content is inappropriate you will be blocked and reported.

If including an image with gore, blood, body horror, or any other common triggers, please include a TW above the image as the first things viewers see is said image. If it doesn't have a tw when it needs one, I unfortunately cannot answer it because I don't want to accidently trigger anyone.

Speak for yourself. The first screenshot is BS, or she would've linked to the post, not screenshotted it, so nobody has to worry about any selfie thieves. As shown because the other screenshot is 90% blurred, as if you need more proof a screenshot was altered... to use an analogy, if you're the kind of person who sees faces blurred on Cops or LivePD and still thinks it's live, you're the kind of individual with the intelligence to end up on the show in the first place. Many people have their settings set to invisible browsing, which does mean you'll need someone's IP if you want a full count of who visits your profile (and the last time I visited it was to read a post she wanted me to read). This is the kind of thing that Evie did to cause her now-shrinking fanbase to try to mass-spam reports against me to get me banned in 2021 so she could have her way, so this is personal.

While we're talking about the post, though, the second of the two links that was provided links to something that has nothing to do with "the gang". "Max and Kiyo" are not in "the gang", just as the anon in the first screenshot is not the person in the first link, if it's even real. That's just the strawman fallacy, just as it is that someone conflates her with other users when she says "last time I checked, your lot accused me of being another user on here a few times, which was debunked", no? Or are you the anon in the first screenshot? I know better, but that doesn't mean you don't now have things to prove. For starters, one does not bring screenshots to a link fight. She is exactly what the people of Side7 refer to at https://side7.com/forums/thread/654/5 when they mention how toxic the DeviantArt discussion community is.

She also says "I'm not even a part of that blog, as I've already stated previously, I posted the threats you guys sent on that blog, along with evidence, Show me where I ever made up a story or accusation that wasn't backed up with evidence, I'll wait" when such an example is literally the post that assertion is made in if it's in the same few paragraphs as her saying the anon must be the first linked person, because someone could just as easily say the anons in DeviantArtDramaNow are her, again not that screenshots are not evidence. So yeah, that wasn't a long wait.

If the rest of what the post was saying was true, the Tumblr group would be reported and gone. And with that, it was surprisingly easy to address everything here, as she put in little substance, as someone who vets her followers according to how gullible they are. This post will say it's an anon post, but that's for a little legroom; I am u/MexicanMonsterMash and I will use my Reddit account to vocally confirm this post is mine once this post is approved.

I challenge her readers to an argument, for the sake of defense. All are welcome here to do so, if they may. She also asked if she was being stalked despite this Tumblr group previously exposing what one might argue is her doing the same thing.

[Minho unfollows Hyunjin because he's that petty]

[Either way, the guys just go about their business on Insta]

[December]

[At lunch]

Chan: "Hyunjin, why don't you and Min-"

Hyunjin: *picks up chopsticks* "Chan stay out of my business."

Chan: "I miss Minho tho...It's bad enough Woojin le-"

Hyunjin: *voice crack* "iT's nOt mY fauLt miNho gOt upSet oUt oF noWhere."

Changbin: "He's mad cuz you accused him of reporting your post that's why."

Hyunjin: "Who else would report my post then??"

*all the guys shrug*

Hyunjin: "Exactly."

Jeongin: *looks at the time* "Guys I gotta go or imma be late for class again." *leaves*

[The next day]

Hyunjin: *sits down at the table upset* "Chan I told you to stay out of it."

Chan: "Hey he's my friend too-"

*they stop talking as they see Minho standing there with his tray of food*

Minho: "Hyunjin I saw what you said on Insta last night."

Hyunjin: "My post or my live?"

Minho: "Does it really matter?"

Minho: "...You were talking shit about me so...let's go."

[After a few days, Minho & Hyunjin finally log back onto Instagram]

[Then winter vacation starts]

[Despite the drama, Minho, Seungmin, Jeongin, Felix, and Woojin still go on a trip to NYC]

[They returned back to school in January but the drama didn't end]

*everyone sits at the lunch table without Hyunjin and Minho*

Jisung: "Guys I got this candy Xanax, y'all wanna try it?"

Felix: "I swear ever since Hyunjin and Minho's pages got followers they have the weirdest IG lives..."

Changbin: *slurps noodle* "Cuz they're desperate for clout."

Seungmin: *turns phone off* "I'm tired of this Instagram shit. Hyunjin is still mad over that NYC post like wtf..."

Chan: "I'm staying out of this, people are already dragging me in comments and threatening my fam..."

Jisung: "Ok wait I have an idea-"

Seungmin: "No one wants to buy your candy Xanax Ji."

Jisung: "NO NOT THAT, like, what if we spam Hyunjin and Minho with old pictures? Us being friends in since freshman year..."

Jeongin: "Hahahahah their initials are H&M."

Everyone: "..."

Jeongin: *looks at plate* "Sorry, continue."

Felix: "Yo that's a good idea, nostalgia will bring them together."

Changbin: "Lit, I'll text Woojin the plan."

Chan: "I thought that Xanax would've destroyed your braincells, but that's a good idea."

Jisung: "Um thanks."

Jeongin: "I won't be able to post tonight tho. I gotta work."

Seungmin: "Well then, everyone else will post."

Chan: *chuckles* "I'm gonna get dragged again. Watch."

[That same night the group spams Insta with old pictures of them as friends]

[The guys sit at the table the next day]

Chan: "Damn they still aren't here?"

Felix: "Nope."

*both Minho and Hyunjin walk up to the table at the same time*

*they stare at eachother*

Minho: *mumbles while looking down at the ground* "I'm sorry for being such a bitch."

Hyunjin: "It's ok. I'm sorry I accused you of reporting my pic on Instagram."

Minho: "So are we still cool?"

Hyunjin: *starts to cry* "yEs."

Minho: *tears up* "I gotta text Woojin later and tell him we're chill."

Changbin: "Wow, Jisung your plan actually worked."

Jisung: "I always tell y'all I'm smart."

Seungmin: "Yet you posted me half naked on Instagram..."

Jisung: "IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MEANT AS A JOKE."

Minho: *sits down with Hyunjin* "I was certainly laughing."

Seungmin: "..."

Hyunjin: "Did y'all see our fight video? It has like over 100k views now..."

Jeongin: "Oh yeah I showed it to my mom. She laughed."

Chan: "Haha, my dad said Minho won."

Hyunjin: "Pfft did you see my punch? My dad taught me that."

Minho: "That punch was nothing, what do you mean?"

*the guys look at each other concerningly*

Hyunjin: "I was dragging you on the floor bro. Look at the vid." *pulls out phone*

Minho: "I don't need to see the vid I was there headass."

Changbin: *whispers to the rest of the group* "They're gonna argue about it on Insta tonight. Bet."
