not to be a debbie downer, but these laws seem really antiquated. i can understand wanting to uphold tradition and maintain a certain way of living, and i can even understand wanting to keep certain laws in place to strength your sense of history or understanding within your culture, but not being able to marry or even be in a relationship? for both of you, that seems rather....isolating. honestly, the word i want to use is cruel. i can understand the idea of using relationships and marriages as a form of alliance and being more or less a transaction between kingdoms, but it still feels rather cold. is that something that could ever be changed? maybe when you take the crown? BUT on a lighter note, i wanna hear about what you consider eye candy. tell me about your type, im curious about what you find attractive! and speaking of attractive, you're stunning whether you accept that within yourself or not! even if you're only in public during special events where you have your ass out, there are those who do still look at your face. not everyone would objectify you so blatantly. and your servants and workers count as people, too! they see you daily, or near daily, i would assume, and im willing to bet all the money i have that some find you handsome and gorgeous (because you ARE) but choose to stay quiet for one reason or another.
