love my fellow autistic people but i really need more like. mature autistic friends bc while im not going to pretend that my special interest(s) are particularly sophisticated or anything lmao i feel kind of uncomfortable some of the infantile language that is used a lot to refer to certain traits? if that makes sense like today someone said to me 'oh this song makes me do flappy hands' and i was like that is SO valid. i wish we could just say stim tho. or better yet why not say 'i love this song so much it makes me so so happy!!!! *infodump about musician*' because thats the kind of autistic conversation i love
