Okay, self reflection time and brutal honesty. Before Mrs S left L.A. to come care for Ma and her ALS, she and I worked out frequently. I was cranking out pull-ups, rope climbs, push-ups, up and over fence climbs, parallel bar walks, balance beams, and leg days like a champ. I was at 141 before she left on 10/16 with a low of 136 on 10/21/2018. My brother came to stay with me and the party started since we hadn’t spent any time together in years, catching up caught up. I’d been all over the place and went to Illinois to stay with old friends whilst awaiting my visa and I’d BALLOONED UP to a whopping 168, but I’m up to 164 after being down to 163. I lost some fat and gained some muscle doing yard work, but that’s ENOUGH!! Yesterday I did my first pull-ups, monkey bars, pole climb, up and over, but couldn’t do the parallel bars walk. Dammit, I liked the way I felt before all this madness. I was like a stray dog with 7 houses feeding me. I ate regular people food. I Illinois I had Angelo’s Pizza 5 times and I don’t normally even consume cheese. In L.A., I was hitting up B&R Burger and Leo’s Taco Truck an unreasonable number of times, eating as if I DON’T actually have MS. That’s bullshit behavior and totally hypocritical. Well, the party’s over!! I’m putting myself out there to keep myself honest.
